I love these cast glass light domes. Cast glass is made by pouring molten glass into a mold. I just know that this photo doesn’t do them justice. I’m not sure if it’s the process or the glass that was used but the bubbles and inconsistent looking clarity remind me of window glass on old farm houses.
The blog where I found this image, Remodelista, talks about how the glass interacts with the bubbles and imperfections in the glass and I can only imagine the ethereal glow that they give off.
