Book Review – Hot Connections Jewelry

July 25, 2011 by Shellie Wilson

Hot Connections Jewelry By Jennifer Chin $22.99

If you have dabbled in beads, wire wrapping and all the other popular but over done techniques then maybe hotting it up literally with a Soldering iron might be a little bit fun.

This book acts like a guide to help you master the skills of soldering and mastering a keen eye for design. The projects are beautiful the technique guides simple to follow. Jennifer (lushmetals.com) knows her stuff but more importantly knows how to teach it.  Another great Craft book for your shelf!

Free Crochet Pattern – Ingrid

Ingrid is a soft and inviting doll, and the pattern is perfect for both beginners and experienced crocheters. The finished result is not only a cute toy but also a handmade gift that can be cherished.

The Free pattern instructions are clear, concise, and easy to follow. I particularly appreciated the simplicity of the instructions, making it accessible for crocheters of various skill levels.

Ingrid works up relatively quickly, making it an ideal choice for those looking to create a charming doll without a significant time commitment.
