This past weekend I got it together and went to the Glass Art Society conference that was being held in San Jose, CA. What an experience! I found myself surrounded by some of the best glass artists around. I saw demonstrations and lectures covering glass blowing, casting, and more glass blowing! I met some really super people and made connections that I hope will last forever. I also saw many people that I don’t get to see all that often…it was a good time. Next year their holding their conference in Corning, which is like Mecca to glass workers. They are the innovators and if we didn’t have Corning we would be living in a completely different world. Back to the conference…if you can go start thinking about it now. I know I am. So the other good thing about going to GAS is all of the information I’ve picked up. And the artists you all need to know about…lots of material for upcoming blogs. Whoo hoo!!
