Australian Glass and the Pacific Northwest

photo1753The show Link: Australian Glass and the Pacific Northwest is opening at the Museum of Glass in Tacoma, WA May 17th, 2013 and will run through January 2014. Twenty six artists are included in this show for approximately 92 pieces.  Check out the list…there are some amazing glass folk on it. There will be visiting artists participating in 17 weeks of  of panel discussions, residencies and exploration of the glass art they create, comparing and contrasting the art of the different regions. The connection between Australia and the Pacific Northwest began first when Richard Marquis met Nick Mount and then when Klaus Moje and Boyce Lundstrom met. Learn more…
