Are You Using The Right Fragrant Oils In Your Candles?

July 9, 2015 by Shellie Wilson

Creating high-quality candles that not only look great but also smell amazing requires a deep understanding of fragrance oils and how they interact with the wax. It’s not just a matter of adding a few drops of your favorite essential oil to the wax and calling it a day. Instead, candle makers must carefully consider which oils work best, which ones have a strong and long-lasting scent, and which ones produce the most pleasant aroma when the candle is burning.

This is the key to creating candles that customers will love and want to come back for again and again.

While some fragrance oils may smell great in the bottle, they may not hold their scent well when mixed with the wax. This can be frustrating for candle makers who are trying to create a signature scent that will become their brand’s hallmark. On the other hand, some oils may smell overpowering and unpleasant when the candle is burning, making it difficult to find the right balance of fragrance. To create the perfect candle scent, candle makers must experiment with different oils and blends until they find the perfect combination. This can take some trial and error, but the end result is worth it.

Make sure you are using the Best oils for your candles.

Viral Crochet Prodigy Story Takes Dark Turn — But We’re Staying Focused on the Craft

Yes, we know — it might seem odd to say “we’re not commenting” while… saying something at all. But here’s the thing: when a name so closely tied to the crochet world makes headlines for something this serious, not acknowledging it could feel like we’re sweeping it under the rug. And that’s not who we are. We have numerous posts and patterns that link to Jonah’s hands; these were all published PRIOR to any allegations.  At this stage, we have not decided whether to remove the content.

We’re not here to speculate, fuel drama, or chase clicks on someone else’s pain. We’re here to clarify where we stand about Jonah’s Hands.
– This is a police matter.
– Jonah Larson is still a minor.
– We will not comment on the case.

We’ve always believed that crafting is a safe, supportive space. That doesn’t mean ignoring real-world events — but it does mean handling them with care and responsibility.

Let’s continue to support one another and keep this space kind, creative, and community-focused.
