September 21, 2014 by Vikram Goyal

Architect designed furniture may seem like vanity to some, but looking at these clever ideas, with free downloadable blueprints, you would be silly not to indulge your favorite 4 legged friend a little.

These ideas are varied, and very dog breed specific. For example, the main picture above shows a hammock styled furniture for a Jack Russel, based on a Jack Russel’s traits (the hammock base is the owners shirt).

Get all these ideas here: Architecture for Dogs.

Owning a dog can be very expensive and not only does making your own dog beds, coats and toys seem like fun, it is also a great way to save money on pet supplies too.  One of our puppy’s favorite homemade dog toy is a soda bottle ½ filled with rice. It is noisy, it flips and spins and has a spout for him to grab.
