Ann Gardner – Glass Artist

November 23, 2009 by Cathi Milligan

I was passed on the web site of this glass artist, Ann Gardner. I’m in love with her work. Mosaic perfection. Beautiful pieces of art and installations. Inspiring. She’s based in Seattle, WA and when you read her bio you might feel inadequate. But I feel hopeful. I love glass and I get the feeling Ann loves glass more than most. Her art shows an appreciation of form and color and the juxtaposition of shapes and light.

Her body of work is mostly mosaic but she also blows glass as well as creates prints and etchings. There are sculptures and commissioned pieces. They’re all fabulous. Listen to me gush. And gush I will as will you!

32 Halloween Silhouette Digital Stamps and Die Cuts

32 Halloween Silhouette Digital Stamps and Die Cuts

If you’re starting on your Halloween paper crafting projects you’re going to want to download this amazing collection of Halloween silhouettes! There are 32 different designs you can download for FREE. This all black set of clipart designs has spooky images of black cats, bubbling cauldrons, creepy skulls, a flight of bats, creeping spider, haunting ghosts, laughing Jack O’ Lanterns and some eerie sentiments as well. These images come in SVG, JPG and PNG so they can be printed out or die cut with your electronic die cutting machine. I love using silhouettes with colorful backgrounds created with ink blending or alcohol inks so the dark image really pops. Use them to create cards, scrapbook layouts, party decor or planner pages for your upcoming Halloween projects.
