Oh my goodness how can something so simple be turned in to something so cute? I love these little acorn characters, especially the French guy. I can almost hear its French accent as he tells me a story about wine or champagne.

The acorn nut, or oak nut, is the nut of the oaks and their close relatives. It usually contains a single seed, enclosed in a tough, leathery shell, and borne in a cup-shaped cupule.
Acorns are 1–6 cm long and 0.8–4 cm broad and have so much crafting potential. Don’t throw these little guys out as even thrown into a bowl on a table they look great.
The supplies needed for this project are basic and inexpensive.
