7 DIY Halloween Apothecary Jars

September 27, 2014 by Larissa Coleman

There are so many different ways to add to your Halloween decor, but before you go out buying more pumpkins and spiderwebs, read this post.  Apothecary jars have been around for ages, but they are not always easy to come by.

At least not the originals.

These 7 Halloween bottle ideas are a great way that you can make your own Halloween Scary witch apothecary jars for a little extra spooky touch for Halloween. Such a great way to recycle glass jars and bottles too. Make sure you start saving your bottles early on in the year. When painting my DIY Apothecary jars I like to use Krylon spray paint as it gives great coverage. I use an old cardboard box as a painting booth to catch and overspray and then cleanup is easy, just throw away the box when you have finished your Apothecary bottles.
