6 Christmas Decorations Made From Sheet Music

December 6, 2014 by Larissa Coleman

sheet music

You can add a certain touch of elegance to your decor, and these 6 decorations would be a wonderful addition to your Christmas decorating.  Take a look through our list and see if there are any that you like. There are so many possibilities with these crafts that you just may not be able to stop yourself once you get started.

Sheet music is a delicate print that can be used to decorate so many different occasions.  Check out these vintage sheet music papers on Etsy and these small sheets for just $6.99 with free shipping.

We have had lots of feedback about using vintage sheet music for crafts, and whilst it may seem like a destructive thing to do, remind yourself that the majority of old vintage stuff ends up in landfills, never to be seen again.

Using vintage helps to restore old things even if it is in a new way or for a new purpose. Sheet music is no different than hacking a vintage clothing item to create something new. Same concept just a different medium.

Vintage sheet music or faux-vintage sheet music is a fun way to show your love for the arts. Music is very popular in our house so these musical-themed crafts will be top of my to-do list this Christmas season. They would also make for wonderful gifts for our music teachers too.

We also found these printables for printing off your own sheet music at home.

Check out this Light Up Religious Hymn Home Decor from our sister site Craftbits.com it is made using Dollar tree items. Use a canvas and some battery lights to create this pretty light up sheet music mantle decoration.
