My son absolutely loves Easter egg hunts! And, since we live close to his extended family on both sides, he normally gets to hunt for eggs five or six times per year. To keep him from being totally overloaded on candy, I like to mix it up and add a few nontraditional treats in the eggs. There are some excellent ideas at 123homeschool4me.com. My personal favorite is to hide pieces of a puzzle and challenge your child to put it together in order to earn a bigger prize.
