40 Crafts for Your Diwali Celebration

In 2014, Diwali the festival of lights,  will be celebrated on October 23. This festival of lights is celebrated by Hindus, Jains, and Sikhs. The word Diwali comes from the Sanskrit word deepavali, which means a row of lights.

If you’re interested in Diwali party ideas, Artsy Craftsy Mom has a great roundup of 40 decorations, cards, and DIY projects. The black cards with the hand stitched candles are my favorite project, but I also think the rangoli with colored rice is absolutely beautiful.
