26+ Teacher Appreciation Christmas Gifts

November 17, 2021 by Shellie Wilson

This roundup is for Teacher gifts for the end of the school year, Christmas time, or just because!.  All of these handmade teachers’ gifts are suitable for any time of the year so make sure you save this amazing list of ideas.

I have tried to include crafts that take some creative effort such as painting or artwork but also some that only require a fun printable gift tag (usually a pun) to add to store-bought items. I understand that not all of us have time to wait for the paint to dry, literally.  Sometimes it is okay to take the easy way with a ready-made printable! Worst case scenario I suggest buying your teacher a gift card, that is easy!

Teachers are worth their weight in gold so I hope you consider taking the time to make a little something for your child’s teachers. A gift doesn’t need to be expensive to let your teacher know that you appreciate them. These teacher gifts are also great for Teachers Birthdays too!  Lots of ideas are below!

Teachers are the most important people in your child’s life. They are the ones who can make or break your kid’s character. With that being said, a teacher is also one of the most important people in your child’s life during their schooling years.

After all, kids spend at least 8-10 hours a day at school and this is where they will learn vital lessons about how to become positive individuals with strong values and morals.

In other words, if your kid has an awesome teacher then this is one of the best ways to show them how thankful you really are for everything that they have done for them. Even so, not everyone has access to teaching jobs and this is why we have prepared this list of some of the best gifts that you can get for a teacher without breaking the bank.

As the school year comes to an end, many parents are looking for ways to show appreciation for their child’s teacher. While a heartfelt thank-you note or gift card is always appreciated, why not add a touch of humor to your gift-giving? Here are some funny teacher gift tag ideas that are sure to put a smile on your teacher’s face. These gift tag ideas are meant to be light-hearted and humorous, so use them with discretion based on your relationship with the teacher. Whether it’s a bag of cookies or a bottle of wine, these gift tags will add a personal touch to your gift and show your teacher that you appreciate all they do.

Thanks for putting up with our kid(s)!”
“Teachers like you deserve extra credit (and chocolate).”
“Thanks for making our child’s brain hurt so good.”
“You’re one smart cookie!” (paired with a bag of cookies)
“Thanks for making our child’s year extra ‘ordinary’!” (paired with a bag of gummy worms)
“Our child may be the reason you drink, so here’s some wine to help.”
“Teachers are like unicorns – magical, rare, and totally underpaid.”
“Thanks for molding our child’s mind (and sanity).”
“You’re the apple of our child’s eye (and stomach).”
“Thanks for being a teacher and putting up with crazy parents like us!”
These gift tag ideas are meant to be light-hearted and humorous, so use them with discretion based on your relationship with the teacher.
