September 27, 2020 by Shellie Wilson

Lavender is one of the most soothing and calming Essential oil there is around. All of the candles below are made using Lavender oils, sprigs or dried Lavender buds.    I don’t want to get sidetracked away from candle making but did you know dried lavender buds can be crushed with your hands to bring out the oils? Any cloth that can close, a tight weave (to contain the buds) can be used.

You can fill a sock with these buds (tie a knot in the end) and use it for aches, pains, and headaches or even throw it into the bath for a soothing soak.  All of these handmade candles are easy to make and you only require basic candle-making supplies such as wax and wick to create them.
