I love a clean white on white card, it brings so much elegance to a design like this beauty from Agnieszka. She die cut Cherry Blossoms with stems and leaves from white cardstock, adding green with inking to the leaves and details inside the flowers with markers. Learn more at the Altenew blog.
Penny black is known for their beautiful floral designs and their latest release does not disappoint with loads of beautiful blooms perfect for Spring. Jill stamped and colored a bouquet of flowers and die cut them out, adding them inside a white wavy die cut frame. The background has nice texture with a diagonal half of dry embossing, also in white. Take a closer look at the Penny Black blog.
Lydia used a cool blackout technique for her floral card with a dark background that makes the flowers really pop! She first used a dark re-inker on the flat area of an embossing folder, then ran it through on an ombre’ pattern paper. She added some subtle touches with a white inking and included a die cut sentiment too. Watch her video tutorial at Splitcoast Stampers.
I love using an inking technique to achieve just the colors you want. For this pretty Spring card Natasha die cut her flowers and leaves from white cardstock and used Reactive Inks to add color in bold oranges, yellows and greens. The splattered background and stamped sentiment finishes off the design beautifully. Take a closer look at the Hero Arts blog.
Brenda added a kitty and butterflies around a watering can full of flowers to her darling design. She stamped her images, colored them with Copic Markers and added them over the background with dry embossing and a die cut embossed frame too. The pink stamped sentiment goes perfectly with the tiny pink scallops. Find all the details at the Honeybee Stamps blog.
Melissa designed a terrific Tulip card using dies, the base layer was cut from white and the top sections cut from pattern papers with some glitter added too. This lovely card from Jami has a wide border of pattern paper and cardstock with a stamped and die cut sentiment. Above she masked her flowers, so there was no overlap and then water colored them in, adding a light wash of purple behind. Find all the info on the Art Impressions blog.
This big bold bouquet from Elise was die cut from colored cardstocks and adhered over a tiny daisy print pattern paper. For her wonderful sentiment there’s a glittery gold “Mom” with vellum underlay and white heat embossing on black. Some scattered sequins adds even more shine.
