Becki used an orange and grey color pallet for her fun Father’s Day layout using simple patterns and with an off center border. She used stickers and dies in coordinating colors like a coffee mug, sports jersey and tennis shoe and some cool sentiments too. Watch her process video at the Scrapbook and Cards Today blog.
This past week in the US we celebrated Father’s Day so I thought it would be the perfect time to share some scrapbook layout ideas celebrating the Dads and Father figures in our lives. Many of these can also be changed a bit to become general masculine designs for any of the men in our lives as well. So let’s take a look at some inspiring pages all about Dads! And keep reading for some FREE SVG Cut Files to download too!

This layout from Misty has lots of distressing and a rustic feel with a die cut brick wall, woodgrain paper, die cut chains, barbwire and hooks, layers of folders with tabs, cardboard and amazing chipboard gears she cut and embellished. There’s also a surprise behind the photo, it swings aside to reveal journaling. Find photo direction at the Cut Cardstock blog.
Rochelle designed this page for the Dad who’s handy around the house. There’s stamped and die cut tools, a tool box and peg board all with metal accents and room for 3 photos. Learn more and get the sketch that inspired her design over on the Stamping Flair blog.
Here’s a darling design for a new Dad with a quilted or tile look made from square scraps of blue pattern papers. Notice how the pattern doesn’t cover the entire layout, it’s balanced by the photo, date, title and journaling tag. Find more info at the Creative Memories blog.
For the guy who loves to splash in the pool with the kids here’s a super fun layout from Rebeca. She created an amazing border along the bottom, fussy cutting along the waves and layering it with bright plaids and stripes. There’s lots of cool sentiments and pool related printed dies too. Take a closer look at the Bella Blvd. blog.
For the dapper Dad this digital collection of images look hand drawn and colored and include lots of clothing options as well as a remote control, coffee mug, beer , grill and lots more stuff that guys love. Find it to purchase along with more ideas at Kate Hadfield Designs.
Yes, I know this is a photo frame but it could easily be adhered to cardstock for a layout that has lots of texture and dimension with wooden shapes or the dies could instead be cut with cardstock for a more traditional page. Bethany created a wonderful double page spread using products from Simple Stories. There’s lots of plaid pattern paper, room for 8 photos, lots of cardstock stickers, a puny journaling card and a fun checklist to fill in. I spotted this at Bethany Roisland’s gallery at Scrapbook.com.
If your Dad loves golfing as much as mine does here’s the perfect hole in one design from Kirei. There’s texture from torn pattern paper, loads of fun golfing sentiments and images along with a clever title from sticker letters. What golfer wouldn’t appreciate all these Dad jokes and puns? I came across her idea on her Kirei65 Instagram page.
This sweet layout from Marie-Pierre has a focus on journaling with a darling family photo. There’s a glittery title and lots of neat embellishments like preprinted dies, buttons, twine, metal paper clip and some simple stitching around the edges. Find more info at the Pretty Please blog.
This wonderful mixed media layout from Andrea has so much interesting design and texture. Each piece is cut from different materials like distress and crumpled paper, denim fabric and balsa wood stained with Distress Inks. Find directions over at the Mosaic Moments blog.
A fun black and white photo of Dad with the kids in a hammock is surrounded by sweet little flowers and a large die cut title (you can use flowers on masculine designs!). Marcia cut her title letters from white cardstock and backed each in different coordinating pattern paper and notice the black letters in each row, they spell out DAD! So clever! I came across her idea on her Marica Dehn-Nix Instagram page.
I hope you’ve found some ideas today to capture some of those important memories with Dad!
