You might not think pink for Fall but the pinks with pops of purple and red really work so well on this beautiful botanical layout from Celes! She’s created a large banner for the focal point, hanging it from ribbon with a “tack” and using clusters of flowers, mushrooms and sentiments around her photo. Learn more at the Simple Stories blog.
Pretty soon the leaves will begin to change color and the weather will get cooler so it’s time to start thinking about creating scrapbook layouts with fall themes and color schemes. I love using botanicals this time of year, not just flowers but colorful leaves, mushrooms and even fall harvest foods like apples and pumpkins, they all work so nicely together to create warm and inviting Autumn Botanical layout designs.
Sunflowers are probably my favorite Fall botanical! This cheerful sunflower layout has pretty pattern paper layers of flowers, woodgrain and stripes with a wide fishtail center border. There’s loads of fun farm and harvest accents scattered and tucked around too. I spotted this idea at the Echo Park Paper Instagram page.
This beautiful botanical baby page from Jessica has warm, rich rusty colors of leaves, flowers and butterflies. She used a wavy ruler to tear paper for great texture, added some rub-ons and foiled the letters with no heat foils from Gina K. Watch her process video at the Therm O Web blog.
This yellow monochromatic layout from Reiko is so happy with die cut flowers, embossed tag and banner and die cut sentiment, all with inking added for color and dimension. I love the hand drawn doodle border she added, such an easy but effect design element! These products are available at Altenew.
This darling dog layout from Sam has an offset floral pattern paper background, to balance the flowers she added her photo and embellishments in the opposite corner. There’s die cut honey combs, a chipboard title and wonderful wax seals that she’s added additional color too. She’ll teach you how over at the Hey Little Magpie blog.
This pretty design from Morgan uses lots of different shapes like squares, circles and fishtail banners all cut from fun fall pattern papers like flowers, plaids and pies. A printed tag, sentiments and small cluster of florals sit around the photo mat. Take a closer look at The Cherry on Top blog.
Pocket pages make for quick and simple layouts especially with pretty printed journaling cards. This double page spread from Taina has fours floral cards, one with space for journaling. Notice the flowers and sentiments strips she added over the photos to tie everything together. Take a closer peek at the Cocoa Daisy blog.
This stunning layout from Adrienne is blooming with botanicals starting with the pattern paper background. Over top she added a large layered die cut flower cut from yellow and black and check out the thread she added into each petal section and the center of the flower, so pretty! She breaks it all down at the Spellbinders blog.
Jennifer used new products from Stampin’ Up for this beautiful double page fall layout. Across both pages she added borders and floral paper matts behind the photos, the die cut title has pretty little flowers and there’s an accent circle with a truck filled with botanicals. I came across her idea at her Create with Jennifer Smith Instagram page.
This awesome outdoor adventure layout from Lacey uses two rows of three tags tied together in the centers over top of cardstock and pattern papers. Each tag is unique with lots of flowers, mushrooms, butterflies and outdoorsy sentiments. Learn more at the (Not) Just for Boys blog.
All the red mushrooms and flowers really pop on this gorgeous layout from Nicole! She’s added texture with torn and distressed paper edges, ribbons and stitching, there’s dimension from 3D flowers and thick layering of the embellishments. Find all the details at the My Creative Scrapbook blog.
This wonderful mixed media layout from Maureen has a burlap background, a stamped and heat embossed butterfly layer, butterflies cut from golden metallic papers, 3D sunflowers and pattern plaids and floral paper layers with printed journaling. Take a closer look at the Cut Cardstock Creative blog.
I hope you have been inspired today to add some beautiful Autumn botanicals to create some fabulous Fall layouts!
