10 Ways To Dress up Store Bought Candles For Gifts

December 1, by Shellie Wilson.

Have you left Candle making to the last minute but still want to gift candles this Holiday season? This roundup shows you how to take ready-made store-bought candles and turn them into artesian-style candles you can gift.

These decorating ideas are a inexpensive way to create handmade-looking candles on a limited budget and in a limited time. My favorite candles in these sections are the dried fruit candles, dried fruit is trending right now and adding a small slice of dried fruit with some twine to the front of a plain candle really makes it pop. Perfect for creating decorative candles for gift hampers and gift boxes.

Here are some of my favorite ideas for decorating store-bought candles.

The holiday season is upon us, and it’s time to start thinking about how to decorate your home to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Candles are a great way to add some ambiance to your space, and they can be easily transformed into beautiful holiday decorations. In this article, we will show you how to decorate store-bought candles for the holiday season.

Ribbon Wrapped Candles
One of the easiest ways to add some holiday cheer to your store-bought candles is to wrap them in ribbon. Choose a ribbon that matches your holiday color scheme and wrap it around the candle, securing it with glue or tape. You can also tie a bow or add a decorative ornament to the ribbon for an extra festive touch.

Painted Candles
Another great way to decorate store-bought candles is to paint them. Use acrylic or fabric paint to create holiday-themed designs such as snowflakes, Christmas trees, or stars. You can also use stencils to create more intricate designs. Allow the paint to dry completely before using the candles.

Glittered Candles
Add some sparkle to your holiday decor by glittering your store-bought candles. First, apply a layer of glue to the candle using a paintbrush. Then, sprinkle glitter over the glue and shake off the excess. Allow the glue to dry completely before using the candles.

Decoupage Candles
Decoupage is a fun and easy way to add some holiday flair to your store-bought candles. Cut out holiday-themed images from napkins or wrapping paper and glue them to the candle using decoupage glue. You can also add a layer of glitter or paint over the images for an extra special touch.

Stickered Candles
If you’re short on time, adding holiday-themed stickers to your store-bought candles is a quick and easy solution. Simply choose stickers that match your holiday decor and apply them to the candle. You can also add multiple stickers for a more layered effect.

Decorating store-bought candles for the holiday season is an easy and fun way to add some festive cheer to your home. From ribbon wrapping to glittering, the possibilities are endless. So go ahead and get creative with your candle decorations this holiday season!
