The all new Dremel® US40 Ultra-Saw™, is a 3-in-1 multi-saw that is a must have for professionals and advanced DIYers. The Ultra-Saw’s 7.5 amp motor and long-lasting drive train will power you through the most difficult materials, perfect for tough cuts through floor and wall tile during bathroom renovations. Its metal foot and guard resists the heat generated during heavy-duty jobs, such as grinding and cutting metals.

Not only does the US40 Ultra-Saw cut and flush cut, but it goes beyond the expected functions of a handheld saw with surface preparation applications including rust, paint and thinset removal. It really is the saw that does it all!

What’s more, Dremel is celebrating dads who, like the tool, go beyond the expected. Now through June 15, 2014, customers can nominate deserving dads in the Dremel Ultra Dad Contest for a chance to win a grand prize of $5,000 and a Dremel Ultra-Saw to help makeover dad’s work space. For rules and to enter, visit www.facebook.com/dremel.

  12. Marina B on June 3, 2014 11:50 am

  13. Jenny Weber on June 3, 2014 11:52 am

I’m getting too old for a heavy circular saw. This Dremel looks like it’s small and light enough for me to use safely.

  14. Sonia on June 3, 2014 11:57 am

OMG!! I’ve been into DIY for years slowly but surely getting used to the tools of the trade. People used to think I shouldn’t handle a staple gun…but I’ve proved I can work my way around the toolbox. I NEED this tool in my life…I have a couple projects that I haven’t tackled because I do not have a saw and I have had my eye on the beauty for a loooong time,

  15. Anna on June 3, 2014 11:57 am

This would be a perfect Father’s Day gift for my husband.

  21. Brandy on June 3, 2014 12:02 pm

I would love to get my hands on that little guy. Moving into a house in July and my diy list grew by leaps and bounds. If I won this then my husband could get a father’s day gift he’d actually enjoy instead of a saw only I would use. LOL

  22. Sylvia on June 3, 2014 12:03 pm

Wow, what a neat tool. I can see that I would have much more control with this than with a circular saw or a jig saw and some of the crafts and projects I do require that. For my home renovations I can see that it would be my ‘go to first’ tool. I would love to win this, but I think I will be buying one anyway. Thanks for sharing this and giving us the chance to win.

  23. Sandra on June 3, 2014 12:07 pm

I have had this on my want list. What a great tool!

  28. Chanda Kim on June 3, 2014 12:22 pm

  31. Mary Jo Agles on June 3, 2014 12:35 pm

I so NEED this saw. I am on limited income and save to buy tools/materials one at a time for my creative work. In trying to supplement my income, I am trying to set up a shop in my garage where I can refurbish and resell home decor/furniture items. I have been drooling over the
Dremel saw, and other Dremel products for months.

  32. Hadessa Mullane on June 3, 2014 12:35 pm

I have a list of pallet projects I would love to tackle but large saws make me really nervous. This looks like something I could handle!

  33. tiareneepomeroy@gmail.com on June 3, 2014 12:38 pm

Oh my goodness…what I could do with this…I ‘do it yourself’everything from refurbishing old radio cabinets to sewing a child’s dress. Most recently though I have begun looking for property to build pallet houses for the homeless. What I could do with this tool INDEED!!!

  34. Jenny Weber on June 3, 2014 12:41 pm

Patty, forget what we’re (supposedly) not supposed to like! Shop tools have been arbitrarily designated as men’s domain, but women have been using much more complex tools throughout industrial history. I’m thinking particularly about weaving and knitting machinery in textile factories, as well as sewing machines and sergers in homes. Saws and drills are simple tools by comparison.

I was lucky to have an enlightened dad who introduced me to many things that were considered improper for girls at that time, including power tools. I’m hopeful that will be typical for the younger generations in my family (except that they won’t necessarily learn it from a man.)

  35. Babette Cox on June 3, 2014 12:43 pm

My husband and I are renovating an older home for us to live in. We are on social security, are down-sizing and could really use this tool for the work we’re doing.

  127. azteclady on June 4, 2014 1:45 am

Oh my goodness, who WOULDN’T want to win?

But, to answer the question, I have a big circular saw that I got a few years ago for my bday, which I used to build a number of bookcases way back when. The problem is, it’s to big for some jobs–I’m dabbling on making some miniature stuff and the thing is just too unwieldy.

This one, though, looks just right for the job!

Thank you for hosting the giveaway!

  128. S Maughan on June 4, 2014 2:34 am

We’d love to win the new Dremel® US40 Ultra-Saw™. Our 120-plus year old building has many needed repairs tucked away in tight corners and small places for us to complete and a small tool is just what we need to finish them well. Thank you very much. Buildings and Grounds Committee; CCC/UCC.

I would love to win this dremel for my fiance. He stepped up & took the place of my kids deceased father when he didn’t have to. After a few years of being not only a GREAT father figure to my children, I was in a car accident & left me unable to walk. He then stepped up and became the sole provider, father, mother, friend, coach, taxi, nurse, counselor, referee at times (LOL) & above all he NEVER complained once to HAVE to do this. He is the BEST person I know & I COULD NEVER repay him enough. So this gift would be a token of my families appreciation of what he DID & DOES day in & day out. He TRULY is an AMAZING FATHER!

  189. Tonya Muller on June 9, 2014 12:13 pm

I would love to win. Now that my son has moved out, I am making his room my craft room, I am disabled and had to move into the spare bedroom and I would like to fix it up. Since I draw a very measly check from SS, I will need to build or recycle most everything.

I love Dremel, I bought my first Dremel and 6 years ago for a project I was working on, since then I have gland numerous uses. I only use a small hand saw at this point but this would be simply s amazing to be able to have, I would be able to do more but being on a very limited income and arthritis I’m not able to do a lot of things. But this would make some of my art inspirations come to life. Thanks Colleen
