Giveaway: Dremel Ultra-Saw and $100 Gift Card

dremel-ultra-saw-giveaway

The all new Dremel® US40 Ultra-Saw™, is a 3-in-1 multi-saw that is a must have for professionals and advanced DIYers. The Ultra-Saw’s 7.5 amp motor and long-lasting drive train will power you through the most difficult materials, perfect for tough cuts through floor and wall tile during bathroom renovations. Its metal foot and guard resists the heat generated during heavy-duty jobs, such as grinding and cutting metals.

Not only does the US40 Ultra-Saw cut and flush cut, but it goes beyond the expected functions of a handheld saw with surface preparation applications including rust, paint and thinset removal. It really is the saw that does it all!

What’s more, Dremel is celebrating dads who, like the tool, go beyond the expected. Now through June 15, 2014, customers can nominate deserving dads in the Dremel Ultra Dad Contest for a chance to win a grand prize of $5,000 and a Dremel Ultra-Saw to help makeover dad’s work space. For rules and to enter, visit www.facebook.com/dremel.

  6. Jeanette Zahniser says

I want to cut out a cork us map! I need this tool to do it. Of course the gift card will help me get the supplies! I’d be so excited to win!!

  7. Patty Dillon says

This has been on my Need/Want list for a while. In fact, I already have a list of things I want to do with it. I know “Gals” aren’t suppose to be in to tools, but I just love ‘em.

  8. Jenny Weber says

I’m getting too old for a heavy circular saw. This Dremel looks like it’s small and light enough for me to use safely.

  9. Sonia says

OMG!! I’ve been into DIY for years slowly but surely getting used to the tools of the trade. People used to think I shouldn’t handle a staple gun…but I’ve proved I can work my way around the toolbox. I NEED this tool in my life…I have a couple projects that I haven’t tackled because I do not have a saw and I have had my eye on the beauty for a loooong time,

  10. Monica Good says

This tool would make mine and my hubs life so much easier as it can simplify jobs in countless ways :) besides, my husband has been wanting it for quite some time but we have never been able to justify spending/investing money in it.

  11. Brandy says

I would love to get my hands on that little guy. Moving into a house in July and my diy list grew by leaps and bounds. If I won this then my husband could get a father’s day gift he’d actually enjoy instead of a saw only I would use. LOL

  12. Sylvia says

Wow, what a neat tool. I can see that I would have much more control with this than with a circular saw or a jig saw and some of the crafts and projects I do require that. For my home renovations I can see that it would be my ‘go to first’ tool. I would love to win this, but I think I will be buying one anyway. Thanks for sharing this and giving us the chance to win.

  13. Chanda Kim says

I love to do bigger projects but I don’t have the right tools to work with wood. This saw is the perfect size for me and would let me finish major backyard improvements. I want to make a couple of planter boxes but don’t have a way of cutting wood. Would love to win this!

  14. Tracy sabo says

This is the first time I saw this tool. Awesome! My husband would love this. Very useful because we live in a condo in downtown Los Angeles .

  15. Mary Jo Agles says

I so NEED this saw. I am on limited income and save to buy tools/materials one at a time for my creative work. In trying to supplement my income, I am trying to set up a shop in my garage where I can refurbish and resell home decor/furniture items. I have been drooling over the
Dremel saw, and other Dremel products for months.

  16. Hadessa Mullane says

I have a list of pallet projects I would love to tackle but large saws make me really nervous. This looks like something I could handle!

  17. says

Oh my goodness…what I could do with this…I ‘do it yourself’everything from refurbishing old radio cabinets to sewing a child’s dress. Most recently though I have begun looking for property to build pallet houses for the homeless. What I could do with this tool INDEED!!!

  18. Jenny Weber says

Patty, forget what we’re (supposedly) not supposed to like! Shop tools have been arbitrarily designated as men’s domain, but women have been using much more complex tools throughout industrial history. I’m thinking particularly about weaving and knitting machinery in textile factories, as well as sewing machines and sergers in homes. Saws and drills are simple tools by comparison.

I was lucky to have an enlightened dad who introduced me to many things that were considered improper for girls at that time, including power tools. I’m hopeful that will be typical for the younger generations in my family (except that they won’t necessarily learn it from a man.)

  19. says

My husband and I are renovating an older home for us to live in. We are on social security, are down-sizing and could really use this tool for the work we’re doing.
    ~ Babette

(warning: you may end up dreaming up with a buzzillion more crafty ideas than you’d planned!)

  40. Anne V says

I need to win this so I can finally finish adding the laminate flooring to my steps! The installer left the stair nose too big, and I need to trim it and the floor laminate back so I can safely finish the steps. I have already ruined one type of saw trying to remedy his error.I know Dremel is a great brand(I use mine all the time!)so I know this saw will power through, and help me to mark another UFO off my list.

  41. Dennis Mullins Sr says

I lost my Dad a few years ago I know that he would have loved to have a saw like this and so would I. I love working with my hands and a saw like this would really come in handy. Thank you for this wonderful giveaway.

  42. ALOC says

This looks like a WOW type tool… a good size to handle with not much weight as compared to a big saw. It looks like it would easily tackle the smaller DIY projects. Dremel definitely has a way with small tools!

  43. andrea says

i would love to win this! i have always used the dremel tools & with this ultra saw, i could finally finish my jewelry organizer exactly the way I want, my beaded kitchen curtain wood-base topper, repurpose the wood tv trays & start a million more projects I’ll never finish but come very close to finishing!!!

Being retired we are also on a very limited budget and I don’t think I could afford to buy this for him so I am hoping that I win it for him.
