We live in a world covered in fabric.
Textiles in all forms has always fascinated me…and led me to a life long love of knitting and fabric painting.
Not to mention embroidery, and my not so big love of sewing…but Lord knows I try anyway!
But here we are talking about applying decoration to fabric by way of painting.
Why?
Well…for one thing, printed fabric is expensive.
You will pay more for a fabric that has a print on it, than you will for one that is plain.
It doesn’t matter if that fabric has been made into a garment already, or not.
But especially if it has not been made into a garment, it will be more expensive.
Cool prints are part of what drives up the cost of yardage.
And what about not so cool prints?
What if you can’t find anything that says “YOU”?
