I found a very clever technique for making an animal print with paint that I had to share.
The paint used is Krylon® Interior-Exterior Paint but this could easily be done with regular paint.
In the instructions you are to spray paint the background with a color and then spray it with a very similar but a darker tone in diagonal stripes.
To achieve a soft effect using a craft paint or other liquid/pour acrylic use a foam paint brush and paint the lighter color,moving your brush in one direction only..for me it’s downwards or towards my body. Then while the paint is still wet, using a small amount of the darker color on another clean foam brush, paint diagonal stripes…blending the lighter and darker at the edges of the stripes so the “melt” into one another.
