  19. Karen B. on June 6, 2012 5:45 am

This looks like a great mother-daughter and even mother-son project for year-end teacher gifts! Love the idea of grandmother gifts too – I just took a great picture of all the grandchildren and by chance and great fortune they are all smiling nicely! So you have to wear a pic like that around your neck!

  20. Shelley Shipley on June 6, 2012 6:38 am

I think I should win for several reasons, lol.
    1. I hesitate to try a new craft because I am so easily addicted. So probably won’t buy unless someone gets me started. Friends usually get me addicted to new things . . . sigh
    2. If addicted, I spend tons of times creating items for gifts, for myself and to sell.
    3. I spread the addiction. Once again . . . sigh, just can’t help it.
    3. Looks like fun and I can imagine the beautiful results.

  21. Mrs Judith Lynn Perry on June 6, 2012 7:03 am

I would use it to create necklaces for all my grand-kids with pictures of their cousins. They don’t get to see each other often since they live in other states and they only see each other when we have family reunions.

  22. Sonya Addington on June 6, 2012 7:16 am

Fabulous giveaway! My first project would be my mom’s baby photo. The photo was taken sepia-like and the artist put color in the photo so Mom is wearing a blue jumpsuit with a big silky bow in her baby photo. So sweet!

  23. Melissa Thomson on June 6, 2012 7:40 am

I would love to make some of them for my family. I think my grandgirls would love to help make them with me(Nana)

  27. CSherry on June 6, 2012 8:40 am

I am a jewelry hound. I love photo jewelry but have not ever attempted to make my own. I am always on the hunt for a new craft that is simple and produces quick results. This kit is complete and you would not have to buy anything more to try out. These would be awesome to showcase some of our holiday trips and special people in our lives. A way to remember them always. An awesome way to make extra money in these trying times too.

8 years ago a friend who was very dear to my mother passed away. My mother keeps his picture and a lock of his hair in a small zip bag that hangs on a cord around her neck. (My mother is a bit unusual) It would be really nice if I could make her an actual pendant that she could wear and be proud of.

  34. Kate on June 6, 2012 10:48 am

I will use these to get an early start on Christmas presents. Won’t I be the favorite friend?

  35. Tanya M on June 6, 2012 11:47 am

I use to bead etc, but after my back accident and had tremors – not so much. The ability to be able to create necklaces from my own photos. Wow! It would give me back a piece of my life I had lost. I’d buy it, just can’t afford it. So I would love to be able to win this!

I’d love to make a set for my mother of all her grandchildren.

  44. Taerie on June 6, 2012 10:11 pm

I could see alot of possibilities with these. As an amateur photographer, they would be well used. I can see a charm bracelet with the pictures of all my cats, one with all the lighthouses I visit, one with all the kids in my classrooms. I love Kathie’s idea of using them for school reunion badges–esp since I am having a reunion next year. And Carolyn’s idea for using them to promote the shelter animals in a great idea. I volunteer with a cat shelter. Note to Carolyn–last Christmas we had our first annual “pet portraits with Santa” and it was a hit. Raised alot of money just by having a donation jar out. Maybe your shelter could do something similiar.

  45. Mary Mac on June 7, 2012 4:50 am

I have some beautiful old photos of my grandmother. would love to make necklace for my Mom and sisters.

  46. brownie on June 7, 2012 4:59 am

I am not sure I am sure I should win, but I can tell you why I would like to win. My family is spread far and wide, so it would be a great way to keep up with the new babies and share. I think it is a wonderful way to have them close to you at all times. And so close to the heart!

  47. Deborah on June 7, 2012 6:58 am

I teach a craft class to a group of displaced woman at a local shelter through a nonprofit organization for emerging and disabled artists and creative people. We don’t have a budget for supplies. We just use what ever is donated to us so something like this would be extra special for my crafty ladies. I think they deserve to win this wonderful gift because they have not had many good things in life and this would be an opportunity to share a lesson not only in crafting but in how goodness comes from all kinds of places.

  48. Nina Moreno on June 7, 2012 10:03 am

  64. Ellen on June 9, 2012 10:27 am

This would be so cool to win. I’m trying to get enough jewelry made to open an on-line shop and I just have so many ideas for using this type of pendant, as pendants in general are my absolute favorite form of jewelry. I would probably keep one and give some as presents. I want to do some with pictures of my greyhounds, or steampunk images as I’m really into that look and I love the robot idea someone posted. Do I deserve it more many anyone else? Maybe not, but I would be so excited to win.

  68. Connie on June 9, 2012 2:15 pm

One of my besties is getting married soon and this would make an AMAZEBALLS gift for the bridesmaids! And obviously, if *I* gave it to her, it would make an AWESOME gift from me, therefore, saving me the PITA of scouring Bed Bath & Beyond for whatever gadget is currently the must-have-iest.

And since the necklaces would be sentimental and awesome, they’d not end up on the back of a kitchen cabinet later (as it seems most bridal gifts do)! So, really, if you think about it, you’re helping to save the environment! <3

  69. Becki on June 9, 2012 2:40 pm

What a generous giveaway! We have a family reunion coming up this summer and this would be an extra special activity for the young cousins. My grandbabies are 1,500 miles away from their mommy’s family and I am making family trees that they can put in their bedrooms with pictures of family members that they don’t see very often. I was just going to decoupage photos to cardboard, but this would be so much better, because they could take a photo off the tree and put it on a necklace. Then they could “take” nana (which is me) with them where ever they go!

I would love to win this because my cousin and I would sure enjoy having a little crafty sleepover sometime soon.
As an amateur photographer this is just the perfect treat for me and everyone else I’ll be giving them to if I win. :)

I’m more of a nature photographer than a portrait photographer, but I love making jewelry out of my pics. I have limited time here and I’d love to share my beautiful pictures of this area with the great people I’ve met here.

I should win for several reasons. First, I have been wanting to try this craft but haven’t been able to afford to make the initial purchase. Second, because they would make wonderful Christmas gifts for my family of 8 siblings with my Mother’s photo… she passed away 4 years ago, and that would save me my already stretched funds on buying Christmas gifts.
