I would love one of these. I commute via train to work everyday and this would allow me to lose my tote bag and just carry a purse. I love all the pockets!
WOW……this is an AWESOME jacket!!! I have a 10 year old Girl Scout and we keep really active with the community and different volunteer activities. I like to be prepared and ready for anything that might happen…having a jacket like this speaks to me! Gosh…having 17 pockets means I would not need a purse! I would wear this proudly!!!
I’d like to have one, because I live in rainny north of spain, love travelleing and being ready for a rainy trip anytime anywhere ; )
One of these jackets would be perfect either my husband or me. We enjoy getting out and exploring different areas (suburban, rural, and everything in between). With pockets such as these, either of us would be more free to experience more of our surroundings in a secure way (no purse, camera bags, etc) encumbering or movements.
My Husband is a tech junkie and when Winter gets here he likes to put everything in his jacket pockets. That jacket is 15 years old now and this would be perfect for him!
This jacket would be perfect for me because I LOVE pockets. Pockets in my skirts! Pockets in my dresses! I’m like a little kid with my love of pockets. You can put anything and everything in your pockets and not have to carry a purse or bag!

This Jacket would be perfect for me I always seem to be carrying 3 different bags (purse, bag for flyers and catalogs, and a diaper bag/lunch bag)if i could narrow that down even by one it would be awsome
I would surprise gift this jacket to my sister who likes to travel. In fact she’s in Turkey right now! She hates carrying a purse. She would certainly appreciate all the pocket storage and then perhaps could bring me back a small remembrance???
On a regular non-traveling day I roll with a toddler & a preschooler & all of the assorted paraphenelia required to groom & amuse same during outtings, drives & appts. On top of that, my son has food allergies & sensory issues so for sanity’s sake I usually also need to carry safe snacks, fidgets, and my ipad. This coat would allow me to leave the house without carrying a large purse or tote at all times, not to mention those special occasions when we are brave enough to take the kids on the road. Love!
Wow!! This would be great for trekking around cold Colorado where I live – especially running kids to all of there activities – I can leave the purse at home!
I have been shopping for a new coat. My old coat is 23 y.o.! And I can’t find the perfect one yet but this could be it! The many pockets in this coat make it so because of all the stuff I feel I need to carry with me. My friends always ask me what I have in my purses because they are so heavy! LOL! One of these jackets would be perfect for my hubby. He is a hospice chaplain part time and has so many things that he needs to take with him when he visits his patients. this would be so helpful!

I presently keep my mobile phone in a pocket deep inside my purse where I can’t hear it when it rings. If I had a Scottevest jacket, I would solve the problem by keeping my mobile phone in one of the outer pockets.
A Scottevest jacket would be perfect for all the walking and hiking we do. We walk to school every day and around town. I get tired of carrying a bag that weights down my shoulder. Wow! This is perfect for many uses!! I’m 18 and a children’s church teacher who is actively participating in children’s events. I believe this would be the best jacket to keep the many things children may need/want. Their small belongings, tissues, balloons, parents details, candies, pen, notebook and everything. Very handy at events indeed!

Wow! This is a great jacket! I hate putting things in my pant pockets, but I hate toting my purse around when I travel. Love to go on daytrips, and photography is a huge passion of mine. With a coat like this, I could eliminate the purse or photo bag and still have what I need for the perfect shot plus carry the car keys and other essentials!
One of these would be perfect for my daughter. She refuses to carry a purse (because it’s not cool), so is forever losing keys, sunglasses, money, etc. She can zip that all into various pockets, and still not have to carry a purse.

Where has this jacket been for the last oh, 8 or 9 years?! I am always busy – I have an 11 year old, and 6 year old twins – and each wants to run a different way when we walk out the door! Its chaos sometimes, then trying to carry a purse? yeah. doesn’t happen much. Would Love this! My family and I travel a LOT(dog and all) and this would eliminate some of the headache of carrying bags,purses,kennels.stroller,toy bag this has enough pockets that I don’t have to carry my phone and lipstick on my bra!lol

To be honest, it’s not for me. If I won, I would give it to a friend in Kenya. He can’t afford transport and has to walk everywhere carrying things – I keep threatening to make him a handbag! Also, he is a bit of a disaster area when it comes to putting things down then forgetting them, so I’m hoping a jacket like this would solve both problems.
These jackets look great. I love that there are so many pockets of a decent size, that you can actually fit stuff in. Less chance of anything being stolen, better for your back, and some of them are even adjustable for different weather

I control my Diabetes with diet and exercise, so I walk a lot. I try to find more ways to get out and walk, and I split up my grocery shopping so I can make more walking trips to the grocery store! I also do Volksport walks. This jacket would be perfect for all my walking!
I would love this for several reasons. Yes, when air traveling it would save space and be sensible organizing of family documents, but also for fishing trips and hiking trips! Stylish enough to wear to the office too.

What a great jacket for a “Band Mom”. I work with a High School Marching Band and at competitions I walk with them from the bus through physicla and musicl warmups and on to the field to compete. Currently I take a backpack to hold tape, scissors, bobby pins, Life Savors, crackers and a pluthera of other small items. A jacket with this many pockets would eliminate the need for a backpack.

I carry a lot of things: Iphone, ear pods, keys, wallet, non Iphone phone, coupons, pen, eyeglasses, mint spray for bad breath, volume lipgloss, BB cream, hundreds of fidelity cards, dog poop bags. Imagine not having to carry a bag and having everything organized in your pockets! Like all of you I need it.
Oh my gosh! I would LOVE this! I have 3 young kids. Between my own purse and then everyone else’s stuff I always feel like a pack horse (and look like one) whenever we go anywhere! When I have to stand for a while or walk any distance, like in an airport, I have to use my cane. Believe me, even though I’m a mom of 3 boys and used to being the pack mule, it becomes quite difficult trying to juggle carrying my purse, backpack, tickets, etc. I usually (always!) end up dropping things on the floor. I hate to carry a purse!! HATE IT!!! But my job (insurance inspector) requires me to have “stuff” on me at all times. This is the absolutely perfect piece of equipment I can dream to have!! OH I would wear it everyday and tell everyone about it!!

I have a 15-year-old jacket that has inside and outside pockets – which I use when I need to travel light and securely. I could really use this jacket because it could hold more!
I like to go to the beach in the winter and take pictures. This jacket would be perfect as I am always freezing. I could carry my wallet and camera and lip balm and my pen and paper in case I want to write about a beautiful scene I see before I forget what I want to say. I better put a fold up hat in one of the pockets too. And a scarf.
Three of my older kids have Scottivest jackets and I am uber jealous. They have held up wonderfully as my kids have traveled the globe. The jackets are incredibly functional and well made. I would enjoy wearing this jacket immensely.

I would love this jacket because I can no lokger carry a purse due to fused discs and Arthritis in my cervical spine which causes intense pain in neck, shoulders and arms. I have Lupus, Fibromyalgia and Rheumatoid Arthritis and having this jacket would allow me to use the many pockets to distribute the things I need to carry without it all being on one shoulder like a purse.
One of my “must have with me at all times” is my Swiss Army knife. If this jacket provides as much use as my knife has, then it will be much used and loved as well!!

I absolutely hate having to carry a purse in inclement weather. Trying to keep everything dry – including me – while lugging my purse full of stuff is such a major pain. This jacket would allow me to dump the purse, keep the contents and still keep everything – including me – snug and dry.

I have to use a cane to walk. One of your jackets would be perfect for me as it’s hard for me to carry a purse. At all times I must carry an epi pen, inhaler, and ID with lists concerning my medical history. A jacket such as yours would be perfect for me not only when I fly but everyday.
Just in general, they never put enough pockets in clothing for women and sometime (Oh the horror) no pockets. Oh the freedom not to have to lug along a purse all the time.

After I read the review I told my DH about vests and jakets, he promptly ordered one! We travel a lot and I always have too much ‘stuff’ to take off and/or put in the TSA bins. One of these would make my traveling life much easier. Plus I could go shopping without a purse! Now that would be great!

I often don’t even have pockets on my clothing. Especially this pair of jeggings I really like, but only have back pockets (it’s awkward putting anything there – my butt is my butt not one with an iphone sticking out of it). I always thought the safari-look jackets would be useful, and look pretty darn cute regardless of season, but have yet to find time to even look for one. Not even talking about investing yet. Anyways, this jacket looks very useful, and I’m sure my boyfriend would be happy about me finally having pockets so that I don’t have to put my things in his all the time when I don;t take my purse with me
I love gadgets and little pockets, I would feel like a spy in one of these with my keys in one pochet, phone in another, bandaids, hair ties in another etc. how awesome!!!
How cool are these jackets? I’m in love! We have a long family trip planned for early next year, and this jacket would be ideal to keep track of all the essentials that Mumma’s need to keep track of while travelling internationally, leaving my hands free to hold little hands and keep them out of mischief! i dislike taking handbags whenever i go out. i usually put everything is my pocket. thats why i cant really bring everything i need at the same time. Instantly fell in love with Scottevest since last year. I couldnt believe there such a well designed, fashionable jacket like Scottevest jackets. Those are just amazing! unfortunately i cant really purchase it since i live in Jakarta Indonesia. Hopefully someday i can have one and finally never worried about not taking everything i need without using a single handbag and still looking stylish wearing it. awesome.

I love it when clothes have enough pockets so that I can go bag-free! The multiple pockets will be ideal for keeping items organized for a scatterbrain like me, no more digging around in a bag for a misplaced item. Plus, I get cold hands so the handwarmer pockets are perfect!

This jacket is very cool. I love all of the pockets. I need lots of pockets when I’m out with my grandchildren because don’t carry a purse at those times. I try to keep my hands free ,and it seems that pockets are the way to go

How wonderful to have 17 pockets–everything one needs would be at the ready less than an arm’s length away.There would also be a multitude of occasions where a purse would be superfluous and that would be awesome.

I love this jacket so much I am already planning what goes where. It would be great to have one because I hate to carry a purse. All my identification and cards can go where the passport goes, cash can be snapped securely in a chest pocket. The pen pocket is going to hold a couple of crochet hooks, the “hand warmer” pockets will be keeping some yarn warm, the kindle pocket will be holding my kindle loaded with patterns, a digital camera in it’s place and a small monocular in the other chest pocket and all of my purse is now in my jacket! Hands free on a hike, or fishing, or just running errands!

I go everywhere by bus. Sometimes I really don’t want to bring a bag with me – purse or backpack. Once in a while I’m able to leave my backpack at work and not have to carry files or the laptop or other junk, but I still have lots of little crap I need to keep handy for taking home and back to work again. I also live in the Pacific Northwet, so keeping it all dry while staying hands-free would be most awesome.

No matter how big my purse is, I can never fit everything in it. I end up carrying my purse, a diaper bag, and a bag with an embroidery project in it. My kids then complain that I don’t have hands free for them to hold. This jacket would allow me to free my hands and make my kids happy!

I would love this for my daughter who hates to carry a purse to school because she also has a backpack with computer and books in it. This jacket will be perfect for every day when I take my class of 2 and 3 year olds to the playground! I always need kleenix, wipes, bandaids, and empty spaces for random gloves and hats. I also have to carry a clipboard with class rosters, and a pen, highlighter, and extra paper! I am a Senior Caregiver. My pockets are always full, with my cell phone, keys, notebook, schedule,tissues, not to mention my clients keys, etc. Seems like I never have enough pockets! It’s usually inconvenient for me to carry a purse at work because I am usually dealing with a client on a walker or in a wheelchair. This jacket would be great for me!

My work requires me to travel a lot and I’m always snatching half an hour or so at an airport or in between running around the city to sit down in a café and work a bit. As a result, my purse is always awfully full and the two pockets I have on my jacket are bulging. A Scottevest jacket would give all those things their own place and would definitely cut down on the time I spend digging around in my purse. It’s also really stylish!
I hate carrying a purse when I have a coat on – and I work on a college campus where I am often out and about, carrying other items in my hands. This would be so useful!

Finally, after years of work-work-work and no vacation time, we are taking 3 nice long travel trips in 2013 to celebrate our birthdays and 20 year anniversary, and visit my wonderful in-laws in Australia. This jacket with pockets and more pockets would sure make airport trekking easier! A find-able place for phone, tablet pc, mp3 player, headphones, meds, and most important…… crochet hooks and yarn to keep me occupied during the 75+ hours of airport-waiting and flight-time next year.

Oh the ability to travel and have all my travel documents on me, as well as my phone (so I facebook and twitter) would be amazing. The number of times I’ve got to the boarding gate only to freak out because I couldn’t find my boarding pass (because I’d put it in a different spot) is embarrassing and anything that could help me avoid that, has to be a bonus!
