I really need the Cricut mini to take to school for doing letters for my bulletin boards!!!

  2. Michelle on March 5, 2013 6:21 pm

I would LOVE to get this for my Mom. She LOVES playing with my Cricut but can’t afford one because her husband has been out of work for over 3 years. She uses all her income to pay for the bills and just remain above water. She loves paper crafting and could definitely use this!!

I already “like” and follow you on FB, like Cricut, and pinned to Pinterest:) Love your creative craft ideas and tutorials–and especially the varied selection. Some craft sites focus only a few types of crafts. Y’all have a bit of everything. Craft Gossip rocks!

  8. Julie roles-holroyd on March 5, 2013 6:31 pm

Pinned it. I would love to have one to help with my crafts programs for the kids of my neighborhood. I work for a very small public library with an equally small budget. So anything like this either has to be bought out of our own pockets or we do without. This would be such a big help.

  9. deb huffman on March 5, 2013 6:33 pm

I need this so when I use mine my grandson can have one to use with me

I haven’t won a grand prize/first place in anything except that one time in grade 5, at a track and field event when I had an asthma attack and this other school’s gym teacher felt bad for me.
In related news, I just studded my first inhaler that I got last week! I’m very much into breathing AND DIY ;)

  12. Cara on March 5, 2013 6:37 pm

I live in a very small community and have several crafting friends. We can’t even buy thread in this small Appalachain town. Having a cricut mini would enable us to make cards, posters, banners, and projects for the teachers and our church.

  16. Kathy on March 5, 2013 6:42 pm

I have been dreaming about getting one for 3 years since I’ve become disabled. Since I am on a limited income I’ve been setting aside money every month to get a Cricut; winning one would be so awesome. I follow Craft Gossip and Cricut on Facebook and Pinned this to Pinterest. Thank you for this opportunity!

  18. Kimber Ryan on March 5, 2013 6:49 pm

I would LOVA, LOVA, LOVA this! Afterall most of my friends already have the bigger one. Oh – they boast – they brag – they create REALLY cool things. Me??? Oh I sit and drool – or sometimes beg to use theirs in a pathetic as can be, poor me tone.

I grew up in a multi-generational sign business so it is in my blood. If only I had the means. ;)

  19. Aki on March 5, 2013 6:50 pm

I can think of dozens of little projects around the house to use this with. I could do inspirational thoughts for my walls, get my pantry and closets organized, unique gifts, etc… The biggest reason I would love to win is…..I will likely not be able to get one for a long time if I don’t win one. I am not getting any younger either so I’m feeling kind of desperate here! :)

I have turned into a crafting junkie. I am always looking for a new craft to do for our church bazaar. It is one of our biggest fundraisers. We are a church that has to have fundraisers to help supplement our budget. This would help a great deal in being able to make some really neat crafts.

I’m a POOR teacher in an impoverished area with NO BUDGET. I would love to have my own cricket so that I could create special manipulatives to increase my students’ learning & achievement. I would be so very grateful for this & it would help increase achievement, learning, & recognition for years to come! 46. Jennifer on March 5, 2013 9:44 pm

I recently lost my job and have found myself having more time for my crafts. I WOULD LOVE to have this added to my small collection for scrap booking, card making and other odds and ends that I do. I have already completed 15 scrapbooks and only been at it for about 3 years. I have about 20 shoes boxes FULL of pics that need to find a HOME in a scrapbook and this tool would be a GREAT way to assist them in finding that home. I have a three year old boy who is also very crafty (hehe) and would also love to use this new toy. We would provide the BEST HOME for this cricut and it would FEEL LOVED! I have always wanted this and I can not afford to buy this for myself. Please help my pics find their home in a new scrapbook. this would also allow for their home pages to look different then the other pages in the books! Please Please Please send this cricut my way!~

  47. Jennifer on March 5, 2013 9:46 pm

I have added both you and cricut to my Facebook! What I love the most is the updates and the ideas! It is also a great place to ask questions and get tips~!

    1. PLEASE HELP ME KEEP MY SANITY!!!!! I am a stay at home mom and this morning (before my cup of coffee….) My almost two year old daughter decided she was going to paint on the coffee table with previously mentioned cup of coffee, then proceeded to share with me in her hand a treat from her diaper O_o ….which leads me to 2. I follow you on Facebook for crafting inspiration, because when I craft its like a vacation from the chaos of being a stay at home mom. I have always wanted a Cricut but its just not in our budget with little ones. (I also like Cricut on Facebook). 3. I have repinned this onto my craft board. Thank you for having such a great giveaway.

  49. Nancy B on March 5, 2013 10:47 pm

I would LOVE to to win this great machine, I would use it most of all for my classroom. My children would be amazed of the crafts we would be able to make. Hope you give me a chance to make my kids Uuuhhh and aahhh at the creative things we’ll make with the cricut mini. :)

I’m about to be smothered by a mountain of beautiful off cuts that I have been saving for the day I can cut them into fabulous applique elements. Cricut is my only hope of rescue.

  61. dana on March 6, 2013 1:41 am

I would love to have this for myself but I would give it to my sister. She & her family had a rough end to 2012 & asked her dh for one & then he lost his job two weeks before Christmas. They are back on their feet now. She would never buy this for herself.

  62. christine pethers on March 6, 2013 1:46 am

I would really love a cricut mini because it would make my limited crafting so much easier. I am limited from the point of view of chronic health and pain problems . A cricut would make the mobility problems soooo much easier. My partner is in a low paid job that just about covers the bills . I’m on disability benefits which the government wants to take away from me in a couple of months. Once that money goes we are going to struggle with finding money for food and a cricut would be right at the bottom of the list. A cricut would also make my cards look more professional thereby more sellable and that would obviously make the finances easier. Thank you for reading . I hope I am successful
    love Chris

I have loved the look of the “Cricut” machines ever since they first came out, and I have longed desperately for one ever since, but my budget has never allowed me to own one.
I really really hope I can win one (as this seems my only hope of owning one). Please pull my name out of the “hat”, I would use it all day and everyday, so it would really go to a good home, it would be so loved and never want for any thing, please let it come to such a loving home.
Please please please don’t make me beg anymore, what else can I say in my defence to adopt it into our family? Thank you for this chance to own this “Cricut Mini”.

  73. Claudia on March 6, 2013 3:38 am

I love my cricut(s) but sure would enjoy having a smaller profile on my craft table. Thanks so much to you and Provo Craft for the opportunity to win.

Oh, PLEASE, please, pretty please, with a cherry on top….PLEASE. I’m home all the time, and trying to make crafts, but half the crafts I want to do require this Cricut Mini. I’ll even share it. I really, really, really need a Cricut mini.

This would be great for making fun stuff with my Grandchildren.

  77. Sharon Joyner on March 6, 2013 4:02 am

Wow this would be a terrific win. I just started putting all my pictures and there are allot of them into photo books but I do not have the natural talent to make them look pretty and decorative and fun (says my daughter who is 33) but not being able to work I cannot afford such a luxury as this and to top it all I am right handed and it is in a wrap for the next 6 weeks due to torn ligaments so this would help me immensely both as far as my hand goes and for years to come when people look at my photo books. Shhh and it would give my daughter and I some quality time to just sit back and have a little fun together. Thanks for the chance.

  78. Sharon Joyner on March 6, 2013 4:05 am

I have pinned you both on pinterest

I’ve been swooning over Cricuts for years now, and they never seem to be in the budget. Having one would bring lots of spark to my scrapbooks, crafting, and my daughter’s school projects. PLEASE, CONSIDER ME:)

  81. Laura G. on March 6, 2013 4:23 am

This would be great for my DD!! She loves to make crafts(and with her momma)—she makes presents for everyone—and I mean everyone!!! Including the dog!!! This would make her day (and mine)This would get her going for days—she’s the future Martha, or Tim. She’s amazing!!!! I can’t afford to get her one because I am only a SAHM and dad only makes enough for the bills. Very rare there are extra $$ for extras like this. PPPPLLLLLLEEAAASSSEEEE!!!

    Hi!

I have done all three things to gain my 3 entries! I was already a “liker” of Cricut, but just recently discovered you, so I am new to your FB page.

My reason for wanting, no NEEDING, this mini-machine is so my husband can get off of my back. Don’t get me wrong, I love him bunches and he is a fabulous man, but he doesn’t like it when my crafting takes over our dining room. This would be a great way to reduce the space I take up AND keep him happy. That and I don’t get much time to scrap at home, so taking this on the road with me would make things so much easier!!!

Thank you so much for the chance!

  196. Patricia V on March 6, 2013 2:45 pm

I’m planning on moving out soon and would love it if she would still be able to take an interest in doing the thing that brought us together. The Cricut mini would be perfect for that…there isn’t much to confuse her with, and she can easily create in the Cricut Craftroom like she’s used to.

I’ve liked you on Facebook, and shared you on Pinterest. I also have already liked Cricut on Facebook.

I’ve been making cards for over 15 years and love it- but would really, really love to try some new stuff with the Cricut- it looks totally amazing!

I need/want this machine because I am in love with quilting..My first quilt was a memory quilt made for my 6yr niece who lost her father in a car accident. Then I made another for my sister in-law. The facial expressions and the tears were all the thxs I needed…Yes I am in love with making memmories. Help me continue to give the gift of homemade love…..

  225. michelle on March 6, 2013 4:22 pm

Well, I don’t know if this is “pleading” but, I’m just not able to buy a die cut machine(been looking at them for 3 yrs. now and drooling all over my keyboard) but paper crafting helps me keep my sanity in this tossing, reeling world…I’d also like to create some things for my Sister’s class room. She’s such a good teacher and doesn’t get any respect or support. She’s been teaching a long time.

Oh, how I have wanted a Cricut since I first saw the one an acquaintance had several years ago. I keep my fingers (eye and toes, too) crossed every time you’ve offered one to no avail. I’m on a very tight budget especially after being scammed three years ago and the payments cost me 3/4 of my social security each month and has depleted my savings. Pleeeease, as there’s no way I could afford it–I’m barely scraping by as it is.

I have been looking at buying a Cricut for a while, but since it’s not a necessity, i haven’t. i am interested in using the cricut for things other than scrapbooking and am really wanting to create gifts for other people. I also think my kids would enjoy using it too!!

  244. Chinh Nguyen on March 6, 2013 5:11 pm

I am a stay-at-home mom so I cannot afford to buy one, but I always “dreaming” of owning the Cricut machine one day. I love doing crafts with my kids and cannot imaging all the things I can make with the machine

  245. Danielle F on March 6, 2013 5:13 pm

I would love, love, love! one of these for card making, ceramics, home decor, and more! Of course, then I’d have to figure out where on my itty bitty craft desk to put it.

    [...] Giveaway: Cricut Mini – 1 freebie(s)? [...]

  262. Ruth S. on March 6, 2013 7:24 pm

I have done all 3 request to hopefully increase my chances for this cricut. I just recently saw my friends cricut a larger version than the one here. I had never seen one before so I didn’t know what it was. As my close friend explained to me the endless crafting capabilities it has. Then the ideas in my head started turning when she took me to the craft store and showed me the different programs available. WOW!!! I can make this card for her and this invitation this way and so on. My request for this cricut is pretty simple! I love the endless creativity it offers and because of Muscular Dystrophy It’s the perfect size for me to move around and less cutting for me too! ????

  263. Barb Wagar on March 6, 2013 7:32 pm

I really want one because I am an avid crafter… I’ve only just started scrapbooking and card making in the last few months. I suffer from depression and fibromyalgia as well as Chronic Fatigue sindrome. Although I am under Doctor’s care, I can’t work from the pain and I still care for two teens on my own as a single mom for last 17 years. I get to use a Cricut at a local scrapbook store who lets us cut things out if we have a membership but I have to go down to the store to do that and some days it’s very hard to do that. I haVE FALLen in love with your Cricut and would love more than anything to have one here by my side at home to craft with. The crafting helps me feel better because it’s something I like to do. It also distracts me from the pain in in all the time. I call it Cricut Therapy! ;)

  264. Karen Propes on March 6, 2013 7:36 pm

I need one, I need one badly. I can’t cut out paper very well, I have MS and sometimes its hard to use scissors and w/electric one they actually leave a mess, looks like a paper massacre :( . My Granddaughter and others would appreciate if I had one. Thanks for the chance and thanks for the awesome giveaway.

His mommy likes when we do this because it gives her FREE time to herself!!

Living in on post housing, it is difficult to decorate walls due to the fact they are cinder block. Using the cricuit would allow us to use vinyl appliques to decorate. This would be awesome to have for other craft, but mostly home decor.

I really need to win. I have had my cricut expressions machine for less than 2 months on about the 4th or 5th use I had a bad electrical problem in my home. During the time I was using it there was a problem on the outlet where my machine was hooked up to and well It burned the machine out and now I’m left with nothing. :( I’m so upset because I had save my money for so long to get it and then this happened shortly after I had finally been able to purchase it. I really need to win. Please!

That being said…Idk what I will do if it ever dies on me. (And it is getting frail) I will probably hold a service and bury it in my backyard! The funny thing is I am sure friends and family would humor me by coming to the service because they know how much it means to me. When the first cricut came out on the market, I absolutely fell in love with the concept of it all. I was born to paper craft, sew, draw. A God given talent.

Have a passion for crafting and designing unique products. When I saw the cricut my imagination instantly ran wild brainstorming about all the products I could create with the use of this machine. That was 5 years ago.

My dream was to have a store front boutique. But I ended up in a bad accident where I am not able to work. This dream of having a boutique died until I decided to try selling online. Have a Etsy shop that I have been trying very hard to make successful.

Everything that is in my shop is strictly made by hand. I do have the use of some hand punch and a few stamps. But my funds a limited.

Having this die cut machine would allow the capacity of not only production in my work but also the advancement of my talents in creating beautiful pieces that I simply cannot do by hand.

I want to have a household name like “Martha Stewart” or “Amy Butler”. Having the cricut is just the beginning of giving me the opportunity to strive for my goal to make it happen.

If I were so blessed to achieve this success – I would pay my family members out of debt. Send my Mom on a trip to Hawaii. She worked hard all her life and this would be her dream come true.

The reason I would love to win one of these machines is b/c of all the joy it brings when make something for someone. We had a very close friend pass away on his b-day we honored him – I had his best friends, mother, father, sister, brother in law & his 1 year old nephew over. I purchased glass bowls and b/c I didn’t have a machine I had to buy the vinyl polka dots & initials and made everyone their own special bowl. Everyone loved them. At that moment I decided we needed to continue the tradition and next year I am going to make glasses to match – would really love to win the machine so not only can I make things using the vinyl but I could also create a special scrap book page for everyone to remember the celebration. Thanks

I’m a civilian federal employee and stationed in Okinawa. With our upcoming furlough, this would be a great crafting item to have for my card crafting to the folks back home. In addition, I would love to share this with my Okinawan crafters as well. Nothing like crafting around the world and sharing the fun of Cricut.

  405. kelly on March 9, 2013 5:32 pm

I pinned. I liked. I want. This would be such an awesome thing to have. I have the larger cricut and use it daily when I am scapping. It would be great to have a smaller one that is more portable. I create things for work and it would be so much nicer to have it available. Also when I am teaching my friends how to do things it would be easier than lugging the larger one around.

  408. Diane Adams on March 9, 2013 6:23 pm

There might be other machines out there, but I am still “wishing and hoping”, (sounds like a song title) that Santa or someone would realize how much use I could get out of this machine. I am a senior living in a senior residence and am responsible for our bulletin board and any posters and signs that go out monthly to all our tenants. One of the things that the Cricut will do is to bring everyone’s attention to the flyers that are made. I try hard to make them coverful and clever so as to make everyone take notice and I truly believe that this machine can do it all. Besides the fact, that we all live in rather close quarters (apartments) is another
reason that the Cricut mini would be ideal. Thank you!!!

I really neeeed one! I try to convince myself that I will -eventually- spend what seems like a fortune, but end up feeling guilty about buying a cheap yard of fabric. As a young family with 2 little girls we are always trying to stretch our cash and it would be SO wonderful to have this treat for myself. It is 2013 and I am still one of those folks who either draws or prints out images to cut out and therefore have heaps of unfinished projects because of cramped fingers from scissors. Due to that I tend to stick to my favorite craft… sewing! I would love to experiment with all of the new possibilities :)

Owning a circut would help me find my creative side again. two years ago I sustained a work injury that has set me back with movement of my left arm and hand. So having something like a circut to help give me a little of my creative side back, would make things nice. I often am the person all of my friends came to to help with their childrens parties, and I would love to be that person they all use again. This ciruct would do just that!

  467. Joyce Phelps on March 10, 2013 7:14 pm

I really need this, my sister who lives 300 miles away from and I are into cricut & cardmaking. We talk everyday 3-5 times a day about cartridges & the cards we are going to make. I have the first cricut that came out & these new machines can do so much more now! I want to WIN this, ple-a-s-e!

  468. Kimberly Roberts on March 10, 2013 8:17 pm

Oh I wish I may! I wish I might be winning the Cricut mini tonight! I am hoping to win the mini for the elementary school that I work at. Almost 5 years ago our school and town suffered a tornado which destroyed over 80% of the town and the elementary, middle and high school. As much as we are still rebuilding stronger than ever, our teachers lost years of saved materials including bulletin board sets and classroom decorations. Tour teachers invested their own money for these items. Every year out school runs the “Pay It Forward” Campaign and we help our students and staff remember to pass the kindness. We share the stories of all the people who came to help us in our darkest hour with their own kindness. I would like to pay it forward to our outstanding teachers and staff by giving them the means to make up for what they lost. Give them a bit more cheer with new bulletin board sets for their rooms and so much more! Please pick me and help me pay it forward and know that you will be paying it forward for years to come for staff and students. P.S. Our students also contribute to Operation Write Home for our troops every year. The Cricut mini would be an outstanding addition for this great cause. Help us Pay It Foward and pass it on!

I would love to have the cricut machine as i am trying to save up the money but with the 3 kids its a bit difficult. I woluld love to have one. :)

  471. Kathy Messer on March 11, 2013 12:55 pm

I liked both Facebook and Pinned to Pinterest. Now for my comment . have made all my embelleshments and crafts , drawing and cutting out every detail. I have always wanted a die cut machine, but can’t afford one. So I make do with scissors and imagination. Now here is the reason I need one now. I am starting to get arthritis in my fingers, hands and wrists which makes it painful to use scissors especially for the intricate cutting. I am a 50 year old waitress using my hands and fingers to the max daily and by the time I get home my joints are swollen and painful so can’t do my crafts which I enjoy more than anything except my grandchildren maybe lol. I’m sure there are many people more deserving to win than I , but alls fair in love and contests. Thanks for having this contest and allowing me the opportunity to win. Kathy

Well my husband was injured at work 2 years ago now and has a permanent impairment, all of his DR.s have said he can’t do his job anymore. but workmen comp says he can. so now my DH goes to work most days when the pain isn’t a 10 so he can provide his family with the basics. So now we are fighting workmen’s comp so they can retrain him in something else. there is so much more but that is the long and short of our upside down life right now.
So my daughter and I would love to win a cricut so we can craft together.

  486. stefanie haluk on March 12, 2013 8:18 pm

  488. Amanda Woodley on March 12, 2013 10:38 pm

I have recently hit a major bump in the road of life. Crafting helps me forget that I can not concieve a child. I have recently started researching on how to start a foundation with an infertility awareness platform, and this machine would truly help me get started with making creations for fundraising. I want to bring the reality of this hushed issue up for many. 1 in every 10 people are effected.. this is truly an epidemic. I am just one person trying to make a small difference in this world one step at a time.

  489. Amanda Woodley on March 12, 2013 10:41 pm

I have liked on FB and expressed my creative excitement. I tweeted it

I want a Cricut so bad. My husband and I both worked at a company 28 years that just shut down in July 2012. We were both on medical leave when it shut down, so our medical pay stopped. We were not eligible for unemployment, because we were unable to work. We did not receive a severance package, because to do so we had to clear through the company doctor within 6 months of the plant closing. We both had a double fusion of the lumbar back. He also had a 2 level fusion on his neck, and just last week shoulder surgery. I also had to have my bladder operated on. After 6 months without any income we finally both became medically retired. The company did honor that for us. I love to scrapbook and just recently started making my own cards, and a Cricut is something I can only dream about. I am just excited entering this contest. PICK ME – PICK ME. Ramona

  529. Beth T. on March 19, 2013 11:02 pm

Would it help if I sang, “Ain’t too proud to beg?”, because I’m not. :)

A Cricut would make a world of difference for my quilting, because I am dealing with arthritis and tenosynovitis, both of which cause a lot of pain in my hands and make me a less-than-accurate cutter. I’d like to do more applique, but am disheartened by my results with the scissors.

Thanks for the chance to enter.
