I was lucky once to meet Katie outside in the plaza of the Today show. She was so personable and patient when my camera wouldn’t work…not a diva at all! I appreciate how she has persevered over the years and still shares herself and her acquired knowledge with all. I wish her great success with the new show – and with her life always!

She is encouraging because of the hardship of saying goodbye to the love of her life due to cancer, and still managing to smile and create a different life for her & her 2 daughters. I’m especially heartened by her journey because I have 2 daughters and find it really difficult to imagine forging on w/out husband & daddy, but life really does go on, & she has gracefully displayed that. Rock on, Katie & God’s blessings on you! :-)
