You might remember some of our previous posts about the Candy Cottage. We wrote about the Original Cottage as well as the party cottages here.

Well we are super duper excited to be giving away 3 party packs which contains 4 little cottages that click together to make the foundation of your house.

These little versions of the Original Cottage are perfect for parties or for smaller activities. Whilst we loved out Original cottage it did take some time to eat all that candy, so a little cottage would be perfect for those rainy days when you just want something fun to do with the kids.   I also think these party packs would be great for classrooms as well as they can be completed in one group activity time slot.

For your chance to win 1 of 3 of these packs simply tell us what is your favorite candy (that could be stuck on to the house) and why.

Competitions Open US Only

Competition Closes September 1st  The Winners have been notified.

My favorite candy to use are m&ms! They come in all colors, shapes (flatter- plain/fatter-peanut) and sizes (mini to the super fat peanut butter ones)!

  4. Gwyn on August 1, 2012 4:28 am

I would have to say rainbow twizzlers, and they could be used as window and door frames.

  10. Danielle on August 1, 2012 5:56 am

The wintergreen candy corn for winter time, they make perfect icicles with the light blue and white. And banana runts for the roof. love those.

  11. Shelley Shipley on August 1, 2012 6:25 am

I would love to have these! My favorite candy is Bit O Honey. Guess they could be used on the roof as tiles, but might need to be snapped in half after freezing. 2nd favorite is Gummy Bears. I would usemini marshmellows in the decor.

  23. Shannon on August 1, 2012 10:44 am

I am not big on many candies but I have to confess that I love candy corn. I only eat it during the fall season and then I eat so much that sometimes I give myself a tummy ache. I am way too old to not know that if a keep shoving candy corn into my mouth that I am going to make myself sick – but that does not seem to stop me. Thanks for the contest for these adorable houses.

  24. laura on August 1, 2012 11:16 am

    I love m&ms!

  25. Gracie on August 1, 2012 2:35 pm

I would love this for my granddaughter. She is 6 years and wants to be a baker when she grows up. What a great way to start. Her favorite candy for decorating would be M&M’s. Not only are they colorful, but yummy to eat while decorating.

  26. smfsprout on August 1, 2012 5:05 pm

I love the chocolate non-pareils and think they would make a beautiful roof for a candy house.

  27. Amanda Briggs on August 1, 2012 7:27 pm

Swedish Fish, they are soft and chewy goodness in fish form. Just cut off the heads and tails and you have bricks for your cottage walls

  28. Tabitha on August 1, 2012 7:29 pm

I’m all about the Necco wafers. They make perfect shingles!

  29. Kelly on August 1, 2012 7:43 pm

That would be a major toss up between M&Ms and Twizzlers….yum!!

  30. Jennifer on August 2, 2012 10:03 am

Pick just one candy! That is impossible. I like skittles because there is such a wide variety of colors to choose from. Reese’s pieces are also great, but I would probably eat them all. ;) I really like to use the brach’s candy that is the same as candy corn, but comes in different shapes and colors depending on the holiday. For instance, they have pumpkins, bats, witches, and cats for Halloween and stars and trees for Christmas. Those would be really good to decorate the landscaping around the house and the roof. The pieces are also big enough that you can cut them into smaller pieces to make the shapes that you want.

  36. Gil Crews on August 4, 2012 3:17 pm

Gummi rings…any flavor but mango…makes me have to take a trip to the ER. You could slice them in half and use them as tile. Or you could decorate them with some frosting and make little wreaths for the door.

  37. April on August 4, 2012 9:03 pm

This would be a perfect craft for our annual pumpkin carving party. I have never made a gingerbread house, so I don’t know about the best candy to decorate. The bones are the cutest on the picture, but I love Reece’s

  38. Ellen on August 5, 2012 5:09 am

Jelly beans, the Ronald Reagan , or nonpariels that, unfortunately, I love. Oops! Would I eat the roof before cladding it?
