You might remember some of our previous posts about the Candy Cottage. We wrote about the Original Cottage as well as the party cottages here.
Well we are super duper excited to be giving away 3 party packs which contains 4 little cottages that click together to make the foundation of your house.
These little versions of the Original Cottage are perfect for parties or for smaller activities. Whilst we loved out Original cottage it did take some time to eat all that candy, so a little cottage would be perfect for those rainy days when you just want something fun to do with the kids. I also think these party packs would be great for classrooms as well as they can be completed in one group activity time slot.
For your chance to win 1 of 3 of these packs simply tell us what is your favorite candy (that could be stuck on to the house) and why.
Competitions Open US Only

candycorn
I would love to make this with my granddaughter. She loves Life Savers so they would have to be on our house. Thanks for the chance!
My favorite candy to use are m&ms! They come in all colors, shapes (flatter- plain/fatter-peanut) and sizes (mini to the super fat peanut butter ones)!
I would have to say rainbow twizzlers, and they could be used as window and door frames.
gumdrops because it takes me back to my days as a candy hungry child making gingerbread houses.
I love Skittles
I love the idea of Necco wafers on a candy house. I think they make great shingles for a roof.
Sweettarts! Lots of soft color!
M&Ms are the best for decorating (but Reese’s cups are the best for eating)!
The wintergreen candy corn for winter time, they make perfect icicles with the light blue and white. And banana runts for the roof. love those.
I would love to have these! My favorite candy is Bit O Honey. Guess they could be used on the roof as tiles, but might need to be snapped in half after freezing. 2nd favorite is Gummy Bears. I would usemini marshmellows in the decor.
ooo- candy corn- I only eat it at Halloween time!
THANKS
Looks like for for kids and mom alike!
Reeses Pieces are the best little candies… i love PB!
I love chocolate so… mini dark chocolate bars for roof tiles!!
My favorite candy is Skittles – although I tend to eat more than I should when ‘decorating’ with them. They make amazing decorative pathways!
I would add something sour like sour patch kids playing outside the house.
My favorite candy is rolos! Carmel goodness!
Junior mints. I could polish off an entire box, thinking I only ate 5.
My favorite are reeces pieces and they look great on the house.
M@Ms
Peanut M&Ms
I am not big on many candies but I have to confess that I love candy corn. I only eat it during the fall season and then I eat so much that sometimes I give myself a tummy ache. I am way too old to not know that if a keep shoving candy corn into my mouth that I am going to make myself sick – but that does not seem to stop me. Thanks for the contest for these adorable houses.
I love m&ms!
I would love this for my granddaughter. She is 6 years and wants to be a baker when she grows up. What a great way to start. Her favorite candy for decorating would be M&M’s. Not only are they colorful, but yummy to eat while decorating.
I love the chocolate non-pareils and think they would make a beautiful roof for a candy house.
Swedish Fish, they are soft and chewy goodness in fish form. Just cut off the heads and tails and you have bricks for your cottage walls
I’m all about the Necco wafers. They make perfect shingles!
That would be a major toss up between M&Ms and Twizzlers….yum!!
Pick just one candy! That is impossible. I like skittles because there is such a wide variety of colors to choose from. Reese’s pieces are also great, but I would probably eat them all.
I really like to use the brach’s candy that is the same as candy corn, but comes in different shapes and colors depending on the holiday. For instance, they have pumpkins, bats, witches, and cats for Halloween and stars and trees for Christmas. Those would be really good to decorate the landscaping around the house and the roof. The pieces are also big enough that you can cut them into smaller pieces to make the shapes that you want.
Butterfinger! Thanks, mamatkins@hotmail.com
Mike and Ikes, they are good for decorating all over the house.
my favorite candies are mini peanut butter cups! Thanks for the giveaway!
I’d like to cut up black licorice to use as shingles on the rooftop.
Probably Reese’s Pieces, they’re perfect Halloween colors and I would absolutely save the candy cottage until then. Thanks for the giveaway!
Gummi rings…any flavor but mango…makes me have to take a trip to the ER. You could slice them in half and use them as tile. Or you could decorate them with some frosting and make little wreaths for the door.
This would be a perfect craft for our annual pumpkin carving party. I have never made a gingerbread house, so I don’t know about the best candy to decorate. The bones are the cutest on the picture, but I love Reece’s
Jelly beans, the Ronald Reagan , or nonpariels that, unfortunately, I love. Oops! Would I eat the roof before cladding it?
Chocolate non-pareils are my favorite, to eat as well!
My favorite is M&M’s They come in any & every color to decorate for any occasion.
I really like the round, red & white peppermint candies.
Zowmom on Ravelry
I love the chocolate non-pareils!
I’d say rice krispy treats – they can be molded and cut and even used under the house for landscaping. they’re awesome!
Necco Wafers. I love Necco Wafer roofs. They always look so colorful.
marshmellow roof
For Halloween, candy corn and licorice! And Reeses pieces. Then on to Christmas and nonpariels in colors and lots of frosting!

Picking my favorite candy is almost impossible for me(huge sweet tooth here). For these purposes though I think I have to say Spice drops.
hmm…thats hard I’m going to have to say starburst:)
Either M & Ms or Mike & Ike candies would make fabulous multi-colored mosaics.
I think m&ms because there are many colors and you can do practically anything with them!! plus, they are yummy!!
well…it’s hard to decide, but i love twizzlers. and now that they have the rainbow twizzlers, you could use them for any themed house! The classic red ones would look really cute on a Valentine’s day house!
M&M’s because they are chocolate!
Reeses pieces are perfect colors for a Halloween house. Yum!!!
M & M’s for my fav. candy that would be able to be stuck on this cottage. They would look good and taste good to.
Since it is fall and the holidays are coming I would use the candy corn and m&m’s. There are so many candies to choose from it would be fun shopping to see what’s out there to decorate with.
M&Ms- colorful and delicious
Hard ribbon candies… they’d look awesome on a Christmas cottage! Thanks for the opportunity to win!!
