I love photoshop for restoring old photos when they are damaged. It is actually a great program to scan right into and edit. I’m using a very old version (on my parent’s computer) and online tutorials to teach myself to use it and I would LOVE to learn to use this newest version. Maybe the tutorials would actually MATCH the program and be easier to follow! Thanks!

I love taking photographs, it is a real hobby of mine. Last year I entered a contest and was shocked to find out that all the winners had enhanced their photos with Photoshop software. I would like to enter the contest again this year and feel I need to learn how to photoshop my photos to make the most of my photographs.

I was a graphic designer in my previous life – now I am a K-5 Art Teacher and would love to have some updated software to get up to speed on and be able to convince the school to purchase the software for the students to learn. I have not yet taken my kids to the computer lab to make art but it is a goal of mine!
I can just imagine all of the fun pictures that I will be able to create and edit if I win this prize! Not to mention all the scrapbooks I will fill and all the gifts I will create for my friends and family. This would be a great prize to keep those creative juices flowing!
I had the chance to see this software upclose. WOW what one can do with this. I have been in an acct. and was let go from a place that teaches and works with the handi cap for being to handi cap…what a joke right! I had the first photoshop that i found at a yard sale on my old compy….I loved it. But alas the program disk was lost and our compy imploded with a Trojan horse. I have four kids and a husband that is a newspaper reporter. I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 5 and I think that it is a great product. There is a fairly steep learning curve for those people who have never used Photoshop or Photoshop Elements before but there are quite a few free video tutorials that can be found on YouTube.

I would love to win as I’m trying to learn more graphic design basics for my marketing position at work, and my personal blog!
I took a photography class in high school, and then decided that with my graduation money I would buy a nice Digital SLR camera. I have spent so long messing with this camera trying to figure it out and work on my pictures that I haven’t had the time to really invest in the post production pieces. I am working at a flower farm and would love to take great pictures of the creations that I make and see there on the farm, sadly I am unable to. My two teen daughters love scrap-booking. We spend time together, talk and laugh. This is an activity that brings us together (important with teens)…a part of their world to which I am still invited. Thus winning this exciting photo package would give us a chance to learn something new together. With one child in college and two other heading there soon…it would be too expensive for us to buy at this point.
I don’t have a new baby on the way. I don’t a trunk full of treasured photographs. I don’t have a cute, sentimental, or heart-tugging story to arouse your interest, one that might help me win this prize package of Adobe Photoshop and Premier 8.
I DO have a decent video camera, however, and useless (bundled) editing software and would REALLY like to win this prize from Adobe!

ok, i am 13yrs old (perfectionist) and have a laptop at home, but the only editing program i have is microsoft word, so my phots stay some what ordinary. i am currently studying photography at school and am absolutely fascinated using photshop and reading the photoshop book. i would love to have it at home and aswell for leisure it would improve my school projects. i think this would definitely encourage me to do my homework!thanks??

I would love to win. Since becoming disabled two years ago I am always looking for new creative ways to spend my time. This would allow me so much more to do with the pictures of my 2 grandchildren and the 1 one the way. I have become the family record keeper since not being able to work and pictures are the way to record and share the family.
I teach at severely disadvantaged rural university in Kwazulu Natal, South Africa. A programme like Photoshop and Adobe Elements would be a fantastic addition to my classroom. I can only imagine the students delight when I introduce/show them the programme and what we can do with it. They were falling over themselves to get achance on my computer the other day, when I showed them how to use MS Paint. We hope that we will be randomly picked to receive the giveaway bundle!

I would love to win this software package, it would be great to have it to use with my Junior Girl Scout Troop, that I volunteer to lead. The majority of the girls do not have computer access and a program of this type would be wonderful for them to use on badges and community service projects. Posted on my wall also retweeted, Working with PS premier would make my task of making a genealogical album of photos for the whole family so much faster and easier, I am presently using another program and the task is quite fastidious. Then I have to use another program to make the albums, then burn the DVD or CD depending on their equipment. But it is a task of love and continuity for the family and that is what is most important. With this program my life would be so much easier, and I could make much more of the pictures and other documents I have in paper form.

I have one reason I would love to have this product–jealousy! I have a friend who turns out gorgeous photos over and over. They seem to be professional quality even though she’s not a pro. She’s just a mom like me, taking pictures of her kids. When asked how she takes such beautiful photos consistently, she attributed it all to Photoshop!
