Dying Easter Eggs

March 18, 2007 |

Kids Crafts editor Christina writes…

How much fun is it to dye Easter eggs with your kids? We always poured hot water, food coloring, and vinegar in butter tubs and plop in the eggs. We had more dye on us and everything else than the eggs, but it was fun. I still prefer to do it this way with my kids, but now you can buy all sorts of kits.Â

What about glow in the dark eggs for night time egg hunts….that sounds like a ton of fun! They are from PAAS (which has been producing trusted egg dying kits for years).Â

If you are feelin’ frisky….try these beautiful Ukrainian eggs. Older kids may be able to do these….they are beautiful.
